PROJECTS

This is our project page, here you can see some projects we have completed in the past for different clients from commercial and domestic sectors.

Wall Rebuild

PHOTO-2024-04-01-23-13-06.jpg

An Ash tree suffering from Ash die back, fell on an oil tank in a storm. In doing so it to lift a rootplate of an adjacent Elm tree. In the process of the ash falling the root plate lifted and destroyed a granite wall.

We safely removed the Ash tree from the oil tank and removed the compromised Elm tree. Then we had to remove the remaining Ash and Elm stump with a digger from the wall for it to be rebuilt.

Then rebuilt the wall with granite and stone found on the site and graded back the remaining corner of the driveway to enlarge it

Multiple Pine Removals

A commercial client requested to get 3 large Monteray pines removed, as the pines were too close to a new extension. They unfortunately needed to be removed to allow a new access lane to be built down the side of an industrial unit.

Monteray pines often reach the end of their growth cycle and end up being a risk to the public due to their size and weight often in close proximity to pedestrians and traffic.

The trees were tall and the access was tight. We worked through a heatwave and got the job finished ahead of schedule.

Garden Overhaul

PHOTO-2024-04-01-23-23-02.jpg

This project was one of our largest to date and required many separate jobs so it had to be broken down into stages. The garden was overgrown and severely neglected, with a huge tree sized Grisalenia a fallen Pine and a 30m long Euonymus hedge that all needed removing. As well as tons of Ivy and a large Apple tree.

The next stage was removing a wall to gain access to the garden via digger and regrading a parking space and removing the tree stumps. We then removed the whole wall that the Euonymus hedge was growing in with all of the stumps.

I then dug out a flat area from the sloped garden to build a patio and a trench for a retaining wall.

In the next stage we built a 30m long fence along where the hedge was and another 4m fence with a gate next to the parking area. The last step was removing a shed and a wall that had collapsed and regrading the garden back to the retaining wall.

Macrocarpa Pruning and Deadwooding

We were contacted to prune a large treee for the access to the roof for solar pannels to be installed. This crownlifting allowed us to also prune and reshape that side of the tree.

The rest of the tree was full of large deadwood limbs and broken branches from storms due to its exposed location.

The dead wooding allowed more air to move through the tree reducing its sail and allowing the wind to pass through with less difficulty.

We safely finished the tree and tidied up and had it finished by the end of the day.
